How Do I Find Students?

After signing up and activating your profile on the LansburyTutors website, learners searching for tutors in your subjects will be able to find and view your profile. They can contact you directly through your profile or purchase a class immediately. You will receive an email notification whenever a learner reaches out. You can then follow the link in the email to respond and schedule your lessons.

How Often Do I Need To Teach?

You can teach as much or as little as you want, whenever it suits you. Some of our tutors teach just one hour a week, while others build up to treating it as a full-time job. Alternatively, some tutors choose to sell video courses instead of offering live sessions.

Our dashboard and tutor tools are designed to support all levels of service. After teaching your first few lessons or making several course sales, you will move higher up in our search results and receive more enquiries. If you are ever unable to take on learners (e.g. if your calendar is full or you are away on holiday) you can go offline until you are available again. LansburyTutors is an online platform designed to connect tutors with new learners. By advertising your learning services on our site, you can reach more students and grow your business. We streamline the management of your bookings and payments, allowing you to concentrate on teaching. Our goal is to collaborate closely with the best tutors to help you attract as many students as you wish, all while delivering a high quality, professional service to students.

Payments for lessons are processed through LansburyTutors.com and will be paid directly into PayPal or your registered bank account by our payment provider, Stripe. We take payment from your learner 24 hours before each lesson goes ahead and you will receive payout at the beginning of every calendar month.
